Soft & Weather Resistant Rope
Built for Strong Dogs
Go hands-free across your body when you want freedom to move—or switch it up and use it as a regular dog lead with a handle. Dial in the perfect leash length for every walk—slide from a 1.5 metre regular dog lead for tight control through any point in between, all the way to a 2.6 metre long dog lead when your dog deserves maximum freedom
The hands-free dog leash with carabiner is 100% adjustable to fit you and your dog perfectly. It ensures comfort and control on every adventure, no matter your height or body type.
The double braided rope in this leash is incredibly strong but genuinely soft in your hands. No rough fibres, no burn if your dog pulls suddenly.
Made to Order: Once you place your order we start cutting the rope. Your leash will be ready to ship within 1-3 working days.
Make it yours. Choose your whipping colour to match your dog's collar, your own style, or just because you love a good pop of colour on the trail. Every leash is handmade to order, so you pick the combination that suits you and your dog best.
To keep your leash looking and performing its best, hand wash with water and soap. Let it air dry, and you're good to go.

regular 1.5m leash
hands-free over your shoulders
long 2.6m leash
It gives you hands-free freedom to train with treats or a clicker without ever losing control, shifts seamlessly into a longer 2.6m lead for more freedom, and easily becomes a reliable 1.5m regular leash for your daily strolls.
Every rope dog leash is proudly handmade in Australia by a one-man team, using premium equestrian rope and custom 3D-printed parts designed in-house.
Our hands-free dog leash is best suited for dogs who have already mastered loose leash walking. While the leash is strong and durable, the hands-free feature is designed for dogs who know how to walk at your side.
If your dog tends to pull, we recommend using the handheld option for greater control and safety during walks. This way, you can still enjoy the benefits of the leash while keeping both you and your dog comfortable and secure.
You can also use the hands-free leash as a training leash in low-distraction environments, keeping your hands free for treats or a clicker while teaching loose leash walking.
This hands-free leash is built for medium to large dogs. It features a durable 9 cm carabiner and heavy-duty materials that provide the strength and security needed for bigger, stronger breeds. While the leash is fully adjustable, the carabiner may feel bulky for very small dogs.
Yes — versatility is built in. You can shorten it to a 1.5m regular dog leash for closer control or extend it up to 2.6m for more freedom. It’s both a hands-free leash and a multi-function rope leash in one, so you don’t need multiple leashes for different walks.
Absolutely. Every Mighty Tiga hands-free dog leash is fitted with a twist-lock swivel carabiner clip rated to 400kg. It’s designed to stay locked under pressure, so you can walk with peace of mind knowing it won’t fail, even with large or reactive dogs.
Yes — every hands-free dog leash is handmade in Australia using premium equestrian-grade rope sourced in Victoria. Each leash is finished with custom 3D-printed components and a 400kg-rated carabiner clip, giving you a durable and reliable leash built with care.
We bought a collar and an over shoulder hands-free leash. I love being hands-free while walking my girl Billie. The lead is nice and thick with a soft and comfortable feel, yet feels very durable and high quality. The collar is the strongest and nicest looking we've come across too. Very happy with our purchase! 🧡
Beautifully made. Great to use.
Best lead ever, walks have been made easy and gives me “hands free”. Extremely well made and excellent value for money
A great lead exactly what i was looking for an energetic dog with a hefty pull on her at times. Long enough that when we find ourselves on our own I can easily adjust it to let her walk in front a bit. My sister and friend brought one as soon as they saw it. Even better supporting a small business :) keep up the good quality work!
Best lead ever. Seriously. I have tried multiple leads and none of them have the safety buckle to prevent accidental escaping. I use it to attach my 2 dogs to the lead, it’s awesome because the buckle swivels so the leads don’t twist! I would love a shorter version too - so it will work with attaching to a splitter for multiple dogs and not drag down on the ground. I’ve knotted it to make it shorter but a shorter length would be great. Quality is amazing. I feel safe walking my reactive dogs with this lead. Thank you for creating a fantastic product!
This lead is amazing, the design and quality and the best part was the secure clip that gives me assurance it wont accidentally unclip. Great for a more chilled walk. I also got a slip lead and the poo bag, i love that the poo bag secures on both ends so it doesnt flap around. I also like the stopper on the slip lead
I'd been trying to find a good quality hands free leash for a while and was stoked when I found this one! I have a blind labrador and this is perfect for using when I am out and about in the garden or on a walk so she can be right near me. Heavy duty and excellent quality - highly recommended and so pleased I found it!
I absolutely love this long leash! The hands-free feature is a game-changer—perfect for walks, hikes, or even jogging with my dog. It gives me freedom while still keeping my pup secure. The delivery was super fast, and the quality exceeded my expectations. Strong, durable, and comfortable to use. Highly recommend it to any dog owner looking for convenience and quality in one product!
Absolutely love the handsfree round the waist or over the shoulder. A great versatile lead good quality materials.
